Wow, what DIDN’T happen today?

Let’s see, here’s what happened today, in a nutshell:

  • Speakeasy logoAdded the official Speakeasy DSL partnership on the RFW blog.
  • Got two possible node locations for RFW, one down on the Southside and one in the Fan.
  • Got semi-interest from a developer/owner of a very strategically located high-rise building downtown for a possible RFW node.
  • Got great interest from a developer who has various projects going on throughout the state including several in Richmond.
  • Made excellent progress on another blogging-related website I’m working on. Hope to have that finished in the next week or two.
  • Got it worked out with the Head of School that I’m to only do projects assigned by the Technology department and not from anyone else (you think?).
  • Finished adding the student accounts and made a good dent imaging the MacBooks.

From a family perspective, I got to play with the kids this afternoon even in the midst of the several storms that came our way. We lost power for a little bit but didn’t let that affect us. I’m actually thinking about building some kind of fort in the playroom I think the kids would enjoy hiding out in (Sha doesn’t know that yet!).

All in all, the day started well, got a little stressful but ended on a very good note.

  1. You may or may not remember this. During a really big snowstorm in Trexlertown, you, Keli, and I turned our living room in the apartment into a “snow cave” and we even made an audio tape while we were playing inside for when we “grew up and wanted to listen to how our voices changed.” Needless to say, I don’t know whatever happened to the tape, but I do remember vividly the fun we all had. LOL
