Too Harsh?
I’m beginning to second guess that post I made yesterday. Maybe because I’m not used to being so publicly open with my feelings and thoughts. Don’t get me wrong; I enjoy writing about what I’m thinking about. However, before recently, I’ve never had an opportunity to be so “public” with these thoughts. I attribute a lot of that to jumping into the Richmond blogging world head first which, I think, for the most part, has been a very positive influence on me. I’m just getting used to sharing myself out to “the world.”
Sha and I were talking last night (we do that from time to time!) and noticed just how much we’re changing for the better since moving back to Richmond. We dearly miss our friends in Staunton and have been keeping in touch with them while, at the same time, making many new friends here. I’ve jumped head first (hence my earlier statement) into several projects (some of them you know about; others you WILL know about!
) and that alone has brought us additional friends and colleagues.
Anyway, enough rambling (getting busy at work now!). I think it’s okay sharing my thoughts online. I’m making sure I don’t share sensitive specifics, i.e. names, etc. although to add a witty twist I might go into more detail than what’s probably “politically correct.”
Am I using out blog as a “bitch fest”? Possibly. I think a blog should be a place one can unload whatever they’re feeling (probably within limits, of course) whether it’s anger, frustration, joy, senses of enlightenment, etc.
Either way, I’m going to start taking my own advice about living each day to the fullest, remain positive and to just…chill. ![]()
