I “soft launched” RVAMoBlog at http://www.rvamoblog.com/ this evening. Basically, it’s a Richmond picture blog that allows registered users the ability to post pictures from their cell phones. It doesn’t allow anonymous posts so some kind of identity is required to keep the “risque” posts to a minimum and hopefully non-existant.  It also allows Flickr users the ability to post from their accounts to the site.

As if I needed another project to work on but I was inspired by RVABlogs so thought I’d give it a shot from a mobile blogging perspective.  Fortunately, not much “policing” needs to happen so the site should just about be self-operating.

There are some initial code issues I need to keep track of such as the different methods the different cell phone providers send signatures with their messages.
