Great day for this!

Matt, prior to losing his footing and falling into the river, butt first. :) Definitely a good time for me since I couldn’t stop laughing!

Earlier this morning, we went down to meet Greg with Brick Weekly for soon-to-be-published article about Richmond Free Wireless. Scott and his friend, Dave, joined us as we “trekked” to Justin and Lynns’ place at W. Grace St. were the project’s first gateway is. Figured that would give Greg an excellent idea of how the project works and how easily it can be expanded to eventually cover a large portion of the city and surrounding areas.

Aside from going to Echo Lake and, obviously, Pony Pasture above, I also worked on the soon-to-be-live Near West End News website. Fortunately, I’ve had the help of John Murden of CHPN fame (along with various other regional community blog sites; the man is amazing!) and Jonah Holland who will work next to me in finding relevant content for our area. Also about ready to launch a Richmond mobile blogging site too. Just have to finish some of the content.

All in all, it’s been a good day. :)
