Good Sunday: Went to Church, Clipping Coupons, etc…

Having a pretty good Sunday today. Sha, the kids and I went to church for the third week in a row. We really enjoy attending Atlee Community as they put on a vibrant show and always present a great message that leaves us with much to think about.  I tend to learn quite a bit about myself and how I relate with others as well as the relationships with my own family members.  There are some issues I have with my family that I’m sure I’ll write about from time to time.  I’m entering a new phase in my life in which I’m tired of keeping stuff bottled up inside and am starting to open up a bit.  When I was younger, I used to put my thoughts on paper (I believe my mom still has some of those letters) but I stopped doing that shortly after I entered the Navy.  Now, I’m at the point of wanting (needing?) to do that again and why not in our blog?  :)

On a lighter note, we came back from church where I settled down with the newspaper.  I always enjoy reading the Real Estate section to see where I can best market Richmond Free Wireless as well as the Flair section to see where we might want to take the kids.

After reading the paper, I went on to perform my Sunday ritual of clipping coupons except, this time, I took it a step further and actually started organizing the coupon folder!  Yes, my friends, Kory’s getting organized with his coupon collecting!!!  :D

We all enjoyed our lunch shortly after doing that and now we’re getting ready to head downtown to do some window shopping at LaDiff where we want to check out their couches.

Happy Sunday to you all!

  1. Did you find a sofa? I’m loving this website and having such a good time going back and forth and re-reading everything. I’ve been on the computer ever since we hung-up. I sent you an e-mail a few minutes ago but from now on I’ll use your comment section.

  2. Hi, Mom! We walked around LaDiff a bit and found it to be a very cool store albeit very expensive. They had a bunch of neat kids’ furniture we’ve gotten some good ideas from. It’ll probably be quite a while until we actually get a sofa but, still, we enjoy window shopping!

Glad to hear you like the site. I’m doing my best to keep it updated on a semi-daily basis. We’ll see how that goes.

    Love ya!

    K.
