Mohr or Less

Been a while since I wrote a good post in our blog. Most of the latest posts have been pictures from the cell phone of the kids along with my Twitter updates from throughout the days. Kind of a slow night tonight and won’t be running in the morning since I have a 7am meeting at work. Planning on running in the afternoon after work though.

Let’s see, where to start:

• Work - Started school this week (think I did mention that one earlier). Started out kind of rough since I wasn’t sure what to expect. I feel a lot better about things now although still have some concerns about some promises that were made to me which I’m yet seeing delivered. I’m really hoping that these promises weren’t made just to get me in the door especially since I never had to leave Staunton in the first place where we both had jobs which were, although very demanding, very rewarding at the same time. Planning on having a talk with interim department head in the next week just to get some stuff off my chest.
• Projects -
  • RFW - Things are moving a bit slow on that front but we can’t be hyped by the media all the time. I’m hoping, though, that if all the cards are played right, bigger things will be coming into place for RFW within the next 60 days. Meeting with a small IT group at the end of next week as they mentioned our article in Brick Weekly although I’m not sure what they want. Probably to sell us services!
  • NWEN - Not sure if I mentioned this site too much. Recently gotten quite a bit of flack about our site being #2 for the WORST blog in Richmond. All I had to say was “wow.”  Definitely an annoyance but I was glad to see some excellent support there.  I also happen to think the results were a bit skewed and biased but that’s just my opinion, of course.

Well, I’m pretty tired now (sound like Forrest Gump, I know), so I’m going to call it a night and sign-off.
