Busy While Productive Weekend

Pretty good weekend. Let’s see, what did we do:

Friday night:

Double DeuceMore wonders of Second Life. Sha and I did some line dancing at the Double Deuce country/western club for their grand opening. Met a bunch of great and kept getting myself into enough trouble where the hostess would eject me throughout the night (all good, clean fun!)

I’d say about 20 of us were dancing for few hours while enjoying each other’s company. The owners of the club also own Club Rockaway, a dance club that plays everything from the 50’s up to recent music but mostly 80’s.

In addition to the two clubs, they also own a place called “Snuggler’s Cove” which allows anyone to sit and enjoy sunrises/sunsets, go hiking up a volcanic mountain, etc.

Line dancing at the DDHere’s a pic of us (click on the pic for a bigger version) on the DD’s opening night. I’m in the first row, on the left with the tan duster coat and brown chaps on while Sha’s in the way back row with the fiery red hair and blue cowgirl hat on, towards the right.

Saturday:

Took Kaleb, Taylor, Matt and Mackenzie to Mary Munford School’s Spooky Saturday Halloween festival. I had mentioned that on the NWEN site and we had a blast. There was lots to do there for all the kids. Matt especially liked the Laser Tag and Mackenzie got a picture of a dolphin painted on her face.  My cell phone is having serious problems otherwise I’d have taken a picture.  :(

That night, after the kids were in bed, we got back on SL and back to the DD.

Sunday:

Kory in SLBeautiful day outside, yet very brisk.  Didn’t the kids out because we need to unpack their winter clothing, i.e. long sleeve stuff.  Did some of that today to prepare.  K & T didn’t get much sleep yesterday so they down for a bit of a nap this afternoon.  Then we did the Walmart thing.  Sha went to her friend’s house to get her hair colored and I spent the evening on SL doing some exploring.  Here’s my SL character.

Hope this coming week will be as good as the last one (for the most part)!
