Back to the gym…
Now that we’re living on St. Catherine’s School’s campus, we have access to some pretty cool amenities. Here’s one of them: the two story fitness center. This pic shows the second floor that contains mostly free weights and some cardio. The first floor contains mostly cardio and a nice bunch of circuit machines.
Sha and I had been going to Gold’s Gym in Staunton prior to moving back to Richmond where we lost a bunch of weight and got ourselves back into shape. Sha’s walking about three miles, three times a week and I’ve been waiting to get my scan card for 24/7 access to the gym here. Until I do, I’ll be walking in the mornings and working out in the afternoons while the gym is open during the day.
Hoping to do more activities with the kids around Richmond including playing football and baseball on the campus grounds, biking, hiking along the James River and playing rounds of hide-and-go-seek on the floor we live on rainy days.
All in all, we’re thankful we can keep ourselves in shape and that our employer, neighborhood and city has so much to offer!
