At Mary Munford…and the weekend…
Fun at the playground.
From Kory M.
This shot was taken tonight at Mary Munford Elementary, where Taylor goes to school. I took the kids to the library where I wanted to turn in some library books until I remembered that today’s Columbus Day so the library was closed. Duh.
So, not wanting to go back home (although it was still quite warm this evening), Kaleb, Taylor and I went to Mary Munford where they have an awesome playground. Then we went back to school where we walked around the indoor track at the gym (gotta love that air conditioning) while Sha coached her volleyball team down below. Always a trip watching Kaleb run around the track (he calls it his “race car track” because it looks like a…well…race car track!) while he looks down below to watch Mommy play. Taylor always does her own thing and usually isn’t too far behind us. She’s so cute walking around, taking everything in around her.
All in all it was a good weekend. Went to the Playroom on the Southside Saturday morning where all the kids had a blast playing in the various inflated stuff. Then I took the older kids to rock hop on the James River at Belle Isle where they discovered butterflies too. Yesterday we went to Nostalgiafest in Petersburg but it was so hot that we couldn’t stay more than an hour. After that we sent to the Southpark Mall before we ran Lee back home, followed by Matt and Mack before Sha, the little ones and I ran ourselves home.
All in all it was a whirlwind of a weekend but very worth it, as always. ![]()

I think the website you’re thinking of is “LibraryThing.com”. It’s the “Suggester/Unsuggester” feature.
Thx, Mary! I’ll be sure to check that one out!
